Who we are

A carpentry company,
in the true sense.

Sanctum Carpentry Pty Ltd is a building and carpentry company led by founder and licensed builder Evan Poa. We build across the Northern Rivers, the Tweed Coast and the Gold Coast, and we are fully licensed on both sides of the border - QLD licence 1246494 and NSW licence 316597C.

The name is deliberate. A sanctum is a private, protected place - and that is exactly what a home should be. Everything we build, from a complete homestead to a single deck, is approached with the same intent: honest materials, traditional trade skill and a finish that holds up to daily life for decades.

We take on a considered number of projects each year. That is a choice. It means Evan is on the tools and on site, not managing from a distance, and it means every client gets a builder who knows their job inside out.

We work alongside you and your architect or designer to resolve the details, lock the scope and give you a clear, honest price.

The build

Licensed, insured trade work with Evan on site. Clean sites, clear communication and a schedule you can hold us to.

Step 4

Handover & beyond

A thorough walkthrough, a defect-free finish and a builder who still answers the phone after the keys are handed over.
